About Me
I write code and think about products. Sometimes at the same time.
The Journey
I started out as a computer engineer. Liked it a lot, stayed up late doing it for fun. After a while I noticed I cared more about whether we were building the right thing than how clean the implementation was. So I moved into product management.
I never stopped writing code, though. The PM job gave me a better sense of direction, and the engineering background means I can actually go build the thing myself. So I do.
Vibe Coding
I've been building apps with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) and shipping them for real. Not prototypes, actual products.
The AI handles boilerplate. I make the calls on what to build and how it should work. It's the fastest I've ever shipped. Nine apps so far.
What I Believe
Ship first
A rough v1 teaches you more than a spec ever will.
Stay technical
If you're a PM and you can't read the code, you're guessing.
Use the new tools
AI dev tools are good. I use them constantly.
Work in the open
I post what I'm working on while I'm working on it. Keeps me honest.
